Own the sky over southeast Wisconsin
A friendly, well-run flying club where members own a real share of three meticulously maintained and hangared aircraft, instead of renting someone else's. Come fly with us.
You'll never meet a stranger at this hangar.
Fox River Flyers has been a fixture at Crites Field for more than 49 years, not because we're the cheapest way to fly, but because members actually stick around. Here's what that looks like in practice.
You Get a Vote
Members elect the board, and the board answers to members. Rules, rates, and equipment decisions are made by the people flying the airplanes.
Nobody's Making a Profit Off You
We're a non-profit corporation. Dues and hourly rates cover maintenance, insurance, and the hangar, full stop.
We Show Up for Each Other
Members turn out for wash-and-wax days to keep the planes looking sharp. They get together to fly to breakfast at other airports, whether it is to a pancake breakfast, the Jet Room in Madison, Bessie's in Janesville, or some other great destination. It's a small club, and it stays that way on purpose.
Three Maintained Aircraft
Every airplane is hangared, well-maintained, and equipped with modern glass avionics. You're flying a machine you can trust, every time you preflight it.
Cessna 172N Skyhawk

Piper Charger 235
1974 · Aspen EFD1000 · S-Tec 50A big-hearted four-seater built for real travel, with dual GPS and a full autopilot for serious IFR work.
Evektor Harmony
2023 · Garmin G3X · GFC-507The newest member of the fleet: a nimble, fuel-efficient two-seat LSA with a full glass panel and state-of-the-art autopilot.
More than a schedule — a hangar full of friends.
Fox River Flyers members gather all year: $100 hamburger runs, pancake breakfasts, fish boils, and wash-and-wax days that double as friendship (and minor maintenance) parties. The club board is elected by members, for members, and our online scheduling system makes booking an airplane simple.
