Member-run, member-owned, since day one.

Wisconsin Fox River Flyers, Inc. has been putting members first for nearly 50 years, a non-profit corporation where every dollar goes back into the aircraft, the hangar, and the people who fly them.

Our Story

A club built to outlast any one member

Wisconsin Fox River Flyers was founded almost 50 years ago by a group of Waukesha-area pilots who wanted a better way to fly than renting by the hour. It's stayed a non-profit corporation ever since — owned outright by its members, with every dollar of dues and hourly rates going straight back into the aircraft, the hangar, and club events.

That structure is also why the club has lasted: no outside owner to sell the fleet out from under members, and a board that's accountable to the people actually flying.

What We Believe

Safety first, always

Every member is expected to fly proficiently, keep up with recurrent training, and look out for the aircraft and each other. It's a small club, which means reputation and trust matter — there's no anonymity in a 53-share membership. Our pilots are constantly seeking improvement. Obtaining FAA Wings Credits, getting new certificates and ratings, including instrument ratings, commercial certificates, and instructor certificates and ratings.

How We Operate

Run by members, for members

Elected Board

Club officers and board members are voted in by the membership. Decisions about dues, equipment, and rules are made transparently, by the people who fly the airplanes.

Simple Scheduling

Booking a flight is easy with our online scheduling system, so you can reserve an aircraft from your phone or computer whenever you need one.

Open-Book Finances

As a non-profit, the club's books are member-visible. Dues and rates are set to cover real costs — nothing is padded, and nothing goes to an outside owner.
